We embark on another year of culture and commerce in the Contemporary Street Wear Community, unlike its counterparts respectfully in the "urban" or high end markets, street wear directly derives from and has grown into a lifestyle that as of recent become very mainstream. We will now celebrate the growth of the culture and the brands who have laid their mark. Henceforth the Contemporary Street Wear Fashion Week, with the same affect of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week but with a twist that only the street wear community could set forth.

meet carl aka mr. young district

a ton of people come through the shop but only a selected few stay in the thoughts of the atmos family. everyone meet carl chisolm aka mr. young district. carl has always been family. he's been always supportive of the shop and the brand. carl is crazy honest and completely genuine. he's a multi-talented photographer who's probably photographed your favorite rapper/artist's rapper/artist. he also happens to collect sneakers... he's been collecting for awhile so you can just imagine the heat he must have at home. i always say, if you have a question about music or street fashion, just ask carl. check out his website: www.carlchisolm.com. next time you see him here at atmos or wherever, say what's up.

mike, what's up with all that s&$t on your hat?

mike's a cool dude but sometimes i wonder about him. the kid walks around with business cards and price tags on his hat. "what's up with all that craziness mike? haha. just kidding. we clowned him and he had no idea what we were doing, the kid was completely oblivious. we're all family here so no bad feelings. you're a good sport mike.

vans x hellz launch event

christian and i stopped by the rsvp only vans x hellz launch event. it was a pretty good turn out with good music, drinks and and alot of cool people. they also had this cool photo machine that was linked to a giant projection screen so off course christian and i jumped in and took a pic. as soon as the picture was taken it went straight to the giant screen. our pic was by far the toughest one. a ton of people were waiting outside to get in... but i highly doubt any of them got in. atmos is always vip.
